The Nearly Naked Veg Company are not organic farmers, nor do we wish to be; we are local producers who interfere with natures way only when we absolutely have to. We are a farming company which delivers veg boxes to the South Devon area full of fantastic vegetables grown by us, for you. We are a small, family run company who are truly passionate about our farm and our ability to provide you with great value, great quality veg for all of your family meals.
- We grow 80% of our own veg, and when we do buy in, we ALWAYS source locally.
- We spray only to cure diseases, not to prevent them, so there are never any unnecessary chemicals on your veg!
- We use traditional weeding methods such as hoe and rakes as much as possible, rather than conventional methods, in order to keep the level of herbicides (and our need for gym memberships!) to a minimum.
- Our aim is to pick the vegetables the day prior to delivery to your door for optimum freshness, although the weather may dictate otherwise sometimes!
