Dear Nearly Nakeds

Firstly we hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to a happy, and healthy 2012.

We’ve had a great year at Nearly Naked with our boxes doing really well in this very competitive market and in the midst of these rather unpleasant economic conditions – you know exactly what we mean! Over recent months we have held our prices constant despite increasing fuel, labour and produce costs. However in order to keep everything on an even keel we must finally put in an increase for the new year to ensure that we can maintain our position. We’re sure you’ll understand this and we have kept it to a sensible level of £1.00 per box. We hate doing it but just as the cost of running your car has gone up so it is with our vans – not to mention plants, seeds…; it seems it is the way of the world!

We do make every effort to ensure that the pricing of the fruit and veg going into the boxes is kept to a minimum by growing ourselves and sourcing locally where possible. We also take our big van up to London’s Covent Market every week to ensure the additional produce we give to you is as fresh as possible - you can be assured high quality will remain our only option.

We really appreciate your custom and hope that in turn you enjoy your weekly boxes which we feel are still great value for money, and very much better quality than the fruit and veg that you would buy in a supermarket. We also try to add value to them with recipes and occasional added extras just to keep you on your toes!

The price of any boxes that have been paid for will, of course, remain unchanged. However, for payments that are yet to be processed (orders not yet placed or repeat orders not yet paid for) the changes will be implemented with immediate effect.

In the meantime, may we thank you for your fantastic support and we all look forward to delivering to you over the next year.
