Well the weather really does not know what to do at the moment- We have over 100,000 plants waiting to go in the ground with a similar amount due on Monday but seeing a weather window as to when we can get them in is not very clear! Anyway because of the weather i have changed the theme of the box a little just incase we need a nice warm meal over the weekend to take us away from the depression of the weather although i have added an Iceburg Lettuce for an emergency incase the sun does decide to appear and a basic salad is necessary! A little extra this week is half a dozen large free range eggs (GM free) thanks to our supplier, John Sherrell, who is by far the best egg man in Devon! They are on our website and always available and once you have tried them you will soon realise you can’t get better!

This weeks veg box will consist of:

new early potatoes Bunched carrots White Onions Aubergine Yellow/green courgette Iceburg lettuce Pointed cabbage Button Mushroom Half a dozen of the best eggs in the world!

Fruit boxes will consist of:

Black seedless Grapes Red Gala Apples Satsumas Kiwi fruit Pears Grapefruit Gooseberries Lemon’s Lime

Lets hope the weather starts to improve for all our sakes especially the plants waiting to go in the ground!
