Dear Nearly Nakeds,
As you know, up until now we have operated two delivery days, with our weekday box being delivered on a Monday and the Sunday roast/veg boxes delivered on a Saturday. Well, we have recently decided that we need to change our Monday delivery date to a Tuesday, and we are doing this for several key reasons.
Firstly, as you know we sometimes supplement our produce with that from other select local suppliers including Gribbles in Ivybridge for our meat. As they are unable to deliver to us, or us collect from them, on a Sunday, we take delivery on a Saturday and we then store the goods until Mondays’ deliveries. We would much prefer to be able to take delivery on the Monday afternoon ready for delivery on Tuesday, ensuring that the goods are as fresh as possible for our customers.
Secondly, and perhaps most importantly (!), I am finding that the current delivery pattern means that I need to work every day of the week which is, after a year, starting to take its toll! Sunday is currently taken up with picking and packing for the Monday deliveries, so by moving the delivery day to Tuesday, I can also move that workload to Monday meaning I can enjoy Sunday as a day of rest!
We will be making this change effective from the week beginning 5th July 2010 meaning that Monday 28th June will be delivered as normal, but the next delivery will be Tuesday 6th July. Please note that Saturday deliveries will not be affected and will continue as normal.
It is important to us that we are totally honest with you, and we hope you understand our reasons for moving to Tuesdays and that it doesn’t cause you any inconvenience.
We hope you have all had the opportunity to enjoy some of this glorious weather that we have been having – it certainly makes the idea of working outdoors very appealing! If you have any concerns or questions then please feel free to contact us, email is best (info@nearlynakedveg.co.uk) and we will be happy to talk them through with you.
Eat Well!
Ben, Cooper and Sam
- Please note that the website will not show this change until Wednesday 30th June to prevent preceeding orders being affected.
