The great news is that this is the first week I feel we are through the hardest period for us- The hunger period! The boxes are now full of veg out from the field which all looks great although we have had to harvest in the rain over the weekend which considering the recent dry period was much wanted but just not on the day we were picking for the boxes! The cauliflowers are lovely and white with small heads. The smaller heads than usual are due to the warm spring as the plant wants slightly colder conditions to keep its growth steady but...
